- Able to provide support and guidance to vulnerable children and families
- Able to remove barriers to learning in order to promote whole child development
- Able to work in partnership with families and outside agencies
- Able to focus upon the personal, social, behavioural and emotional needs of the whole child
- Monitor whole school attendance in accordance with school policy
