Part Time 0.4 SEND/Inclusion Leader or Full Time SEND Leader + 0.6 Teacher job summary
Due to the relocation of our existing SEND Leader, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an inspirational SEND / Inclusion Leader to join our school team, supporting children across the school who need extra assistance and support. Taking responsibility for the day-to-day high quality in-class and intervention support for SEND pupils, enabling them to make good progress in their learning, we would prefer candidates to have the National Award for SEN Co-ordination, however we are willing to support candidates working towards this.
The successful candidate will take up a part time role for 2 days per week or work full time with a class responsibility for 0.6 of the week and be non-class based for 0.4 of the week to enable them to carry out their SENCO role. The successful applicant will also be a DSL and responsible for pupil premium pupils.
This is an excellent opportunity for a well-qualified SEND Leader or someone with a strong interest in SEND who is willing to learn and wants to provide strong leadership of SEND.
