Chulmleigh Community College is a high performing, ambitious secondary school well known for exemplary behaviour and conduct. This is a school where teachers focus upon high quality teaching. Our GCSE results have, for the last 5 years, been amongst the best in the South West region.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed specialist of PE to cover a period of maternity leave. The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for sport and physical education and will have the ability to teach and inspire a wide range of pupils with differing needs and abilities.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic PE Department which has achieved excellent results with teams and individuals at area, county and national level. It is expected that the successful candidate will contribute to the development, positive profile and future success of sport within the College. Applications are welcomed from experienced teachers or highly motivated newly qualified teachers. The successful candidate will need to work every Tuesday and Wednesday and alternate Thursdays.

In February 2018, an Ofsted inspection confirmed we were a Good College where pupils consistently make exceptional progress.
