What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Work on a one-to-one basis supporting a child with an Education Health Care Plan, both in and out of the classroom
  • Work alongside, and under the guidance of, an experienced Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator and external professionals
  • Enthuse and engage
  • Calmly de-escalate situations and support self-regulation
  • Work as a lunchtime play leader to continue to develop our very positive play ethos

We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join the friendly team in our village church school. We want someone who is highly motivated, passionate about children's learning and committed to meeting the needs of the 'whole' child, so that we develop independent and resilient learners. Flexibility and a good sense of humour are also essential.
