Fixed term, Part Time Administrative Assistant (Finance) job summary

Springfield School is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support our finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience in general office practices, alongside business and finance systems.

No experience is necessary, but strong numerical and literacy skills are essential, as is a ‘can-do’ approach to work and a willingness to learn.

This role is for a fixed term until 31st December 2024. However, there may be scope for this to be extended and developed with a view to making the role permanent.

We are keen to develop our teams, and whilst initial training will be provided, there may also be the opportunity to undertake an apprenticeship scheme in the longer term.

Working hours are term time only. This role is 30 hours per week but we would also welcome applications from individuals wishing to work part time hours.

Commitment to safeguarding

The De Curci Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. DBS Disclosure at Enhanced level, and any other background checks, including overseas and on-line checks, will be required prior to any offer of employment.

The school has an established history of excellent practice and high achievement. Ofsted judged the school to be 'good' in October 2019 and commented that 'leaders are determined to provide a high-quality education for all pupils regardless of their ability or circumstances'.

We are a strong, aspirational community founded on positive and respectful relationships;

every individual is known and supported in their learning and personal development. We

aim to inspire our students with a love of learning, a desire to innovate and a sense of

discovery and optimism for their twenty-first century world.

Our curriculum is rich and broad and our commitment to promoting student leadership

and co-construction means that students are actively engaged in developing the school and

shaping their own learning. Our teachers recognise individual learning styles, as well as the

need to encourage independent and collaborative learning.
