North Tawton Community Primary School is delighted to be part of The Dartmoor Multi Academy Trust (DMAT), a Trust consisting of 3 secondary and 13 primary schools.
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding practitioner who is a hardworking, enthusiastic team player to join our friendly, caring school. Applications from NQTs and more experienced teachers are most welcome.

This post is based at North Tawton Community Primary School, however, you may be required to work across all of our Trust schools, as directed.

Essential educational requirements
Qualified Teacher Status
Essential skills and experience
Ability to teach Key Stage 1 or 2
A good working knowledge of the relevant Key Stage Curriculum.
Well developed behaviour management skills.
Experience of meeting a wide range of pupil needs including those with SEN.
Proven record of good classroom organisation and management.
Ability to use ICT to support teaching and learning.
A willingness to support curriculum development in an area of strength.
Stimulating and interesting curriculum delivery.
An ability to prioritise and manage own time in order to balance the demands of teaching.
An ability to communicate clearly in both written and oral form.
A commitment to involving parents in their children’s education.
An ability to work as part of a team.
A willingness to attend courses which further school development as well as personal goals.
Willingness to contribute extra-curricular programme.
