Part time Class Teacher (FTE 0.4) job summary

Class teachers use their knowledge and enthusiasm to engage with children, inspiring them to enjoy learning, be confident in their abilities and take pride in their achievements from a young age.

Through a mix of resources class teachers help motivate pupils of all abilities to study and investigate lesson topics. From maths and English through to music and physical education (P.E.), they use interactive and engaging teaching methods to bring national curriculum subjects to life.

The role will include:

  • Leading and managing a designated class as part of a job share, fostering a positive and stimulating learning environment.

  • Planning, delivering, and assessing engaging and effective lessons across the curriculum.

  • Building strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

  • Contributing to the school's continued success and development.

We are seeking an individual who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is completing it in Summer 2025.

  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.

  • Possesses excellent communication, collaboration, and organisational skills.

  • Has a passion for nurturing young minds and inspiring a love of learning.

  • Aligns with our school's values and ethos.
