What skills and experience we're looking for

We are recruiting for a part time class teacher, 2 days per week, teaching in Class 2 which is a mixed age class consisting of Years 3 & 4 with 21 pupils. Our pupils have a thirst for learning and strive to always reach or exceed their full potential. We use a continuous provision approach across all our classes to instil a love for learning and develop knowledge, skills and behaviours. We offer all our children a wider curriculum with learning beyond the classroom. All our children immerse themselves into Forest School activities and learning outdoors within our beautiful local community.

Whittlebury CE Primary School is a small village primary, located 3 miles from the nearest market town Towcester. The school is part of the Forest CE Federation which incorporates Tiffield, Gayton, Stoke Bruerne and Yardley Gobion Primary. The federation is a supportive, progressive and forward thinking federation which offers its staff great professional development and a good work life balance. We recognise how hard sometimes the job as a teacher can be therefore, we spread the duties across the federation team which offers tremendous support to everyone.
