Job Overview
We are looking for a positive and adaptable part time Cover Supervisor to join Lawn Manor Academy on a permanent basis, to work 20.5 hours per week on a Monday, Tuesday and Friday.
The main job duties include, but are not limited to:
Covering teachers, tutors, mentors, and teaching assistants as required.
Invigilating examinations.
Being part of the duty team, including lunchtime supervision of pupils when necessary.
Supporting the school’s inclusion centre.
Mentoring pupils, both individually and in small groups as part of the school mentoring process.
As a successful candidate, you will:
Have 5 GCSE’s grade A-C, including Maths and English, or equivalent.
Be willing to undertake ongoing training/update skills, including completing NVQ.
Demonstrate a track record of personal progression, alongside the ability to raise standards/achievements in others.
