Exceptional KS4 & KS5 English Teacher wanted for a part time fixed-term position until 31st July 2019
Salary subject to experience and free Travel card for Zone 1 & 2.
Chelsea Community Hospital School is a community special school meeting the needs of young people who are patients in Chelsea Community Hospital School and also community pupils who are also referred by the Borough.
This is an opportunity to work in vibrant and exciting setting. Lavender walk is a new in-patients psychiatric unit for up to 16 young people age between 14 - 18 who have mental health diagnosis.
You will be working in a multidisciplinary team in a extremely modern and well appointed new unit. We looking for somebody 3 days a week with experience of teaching GCSE and A level.
We are committed to providing outstanding personalised education where every child feels valued, nurtured and respected within our hospital school. We teach children from 8-19 with the full spectrum of abilities and special educational and medical needs, so we are looking for a flexible, experienced teacher, who can adapt quickly to changing situations. We need a dynamic and creative teacher who will ensure an enriching educational experience for our pupils. Our School is a unique, rewarding and challenging place to work, and we look forward to welcoming a new teacher into our supportive team.
The successful English Teacher will be able to demonstrate effective teaching across KS4 & KS5 including ‘A’ level English to all abilities. Visits to the school are most welcomed.
