Part Time Finance Officer job summary
Seven Hills School are seeking to appoint a Part Time Finance Officer .
Working Three days per week the successful candidate will carry out a range of tasks primarily related to the processing and reporting of financial activities. This role requires candidates to be enthusiastic, with excellent interpersonal skills, have a keen eye for detail, be able to communicate with a variety of people and organisations and have experience of producing high quality work to tight deadlines. You should be a team player who is willing to work with colleagues, but also be able to use their own initiative and find creative solutions to potential problems. You will need to be computer literate with experience of Microsoft Office, computerised accounting systems, ideally FMS and SIMs although training will be available for the successful candidate. A high standard of interpersonal and communication skills are required as well as the ability to work under pressure, maintain confidentiality and be flexible to meet the workload demand. This is a key role which is vital to the smooth running of our school
The successful applicant will be required to work 2 weeks during the school holiday period to be negotiated around the needs of the school and the requirements of the budget period.

Seven Hills School is a co-educational secondary special school co-located with a Catholic High School near the centre of the city. We cater for pupils from 11 to 19 years of age. The school is maintained by Sheffield Local Authority (LA).
All pupils have learning difficulties and many have other associated difficulties relating to communication, behaviour, sensory, physical and/or medical disabilities. In common with many other special schools, pupils admitted have increasingly complex needs. A high proportion of pupils are from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Approximately 25% of pupils are from an ethnic minority background.
The mission and purpose of Seven Hills School is to provide high quality inclusive education for young people aged 11 -19 with learning difficulties, physical disabilities and complex and multiple learning needs, in a safe and stimulating environment.
