Marleigh Primary Academy are seeking to appoint 2 talented and resourceful Learning Mentors to support across classrooms. Although the duties allocated to this role might change in the future, initially they will involve working 1:1 with children with SEND needs in our nursery.

We are looking for someone to work with the classroom teacher, to adapt lessons/activities to meet the needs of individual children and small groups. They will take responsibility for delivering learning activities with small groups of children and provide extra support to children with significant needs. To work within an anti-discriminatory and inclusive environment and support the team to facilitate the all-round development of all children, enabling them to reach their full potential.

Working closely with the Headteacher, teachers and members of Marleigh Primary Academy, we envisage that our support staff will contribute to our success as we establish and build a reputation for warmth and caring excellence. This is a fantastic opportunity where you will have the chance to support pupils, as well as continuing your own professional development. We are looking for those who have a true passion to work with children.

The working pattern will be 12pm –3pm Monday to Friday (15 hours per week).
