We are an outstanding secondary special school for students with learning and additional needs (LAN). Every student matters at The Abbey and every decision we take is based on what is in the best interests of the individual. Our staff are our greatest asset and we are extremely proud of our whole school ethos.
Over the next 2 years The Abbey will be undergoing significant investment as we expand from a 2 to 3 form entry school to support Surrey County Council’s SEND Sufficiency Strategy 2020 – 2025. This will provide us with a range of brand-new facilities including 9 classrooms (5 subject specialist for Art, DT, Science, Performing Arts and Catering), a learning resource unit, sports hall and suite of therapy rooms.
Working in a special school is extremely rewarding and our students continue to amaze us on a daily basis with their attitudes, achievements and behaviour.
