THE ROLE

We are seeking a skilled Receptionist to join our amazing team at our special school in Barnsley. As the first point of contact for our organisation, the Receptionist plays a crucial role in creating a positive impression for visitors and callers. You need to be a good communicator and have a warm, friendly, approachable and empathetic manner.

Your role will include:

  • Working as an integral part of the Business Support Team.

  • Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school(s).

  • Being the first point of contact for staff, professionals and parents.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

THE CANDIDATE

  • GCSE Maths and English or equivalent

  • Proven experience in a similar role - receptionist, administrator or business support

  • Experience or interest in working with children/ young people with additional needs

  • Ability to relate to children and younger people to build positive relationships

SALARY/ HOURS
