Part-Time SEN Administrator job summary

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive part-time administrator to join our dedicated Inclusion Team. In this role, you will work closely with our SENCO, managing all administrative tasks related to Special Educational Needs (SEN). The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, enthusiastic, confident and capable, with a positive approach to their work.

Main responsibilities:

Provide efficient administrative support to the SENCO, including managing records, updating data, and liaising with staff, parents, and external agencies.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date SEN student records, including EHCPs, review notes, and referrals.

Schedule and coordinate SEN meetings, including parent consultations, annual reviews, and interagency discussions.

Assist in the preparation of SEN reports and paperwork in accordance with school policies and statutory requirements.

Ensure confidential handling of sensitive student information and comply with GDPR regulations.

Support the smooth running of SEN administrative tasks within the school, adapting to changing priorities and needs.

The successful candidate will:

Have at least two years office experience and an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel plus experience using databases.

Be able to produce accurate minutes of meetings.

Able to work under pressure and be professional at all times.

Show compassion when dealing with pupils and parents.
