About the Role

Are you passionate about Sociology? We are looking for a well-qualified and dynamic teacher of A Level Sociology, with the ability to teach English up to Key Stage 3. The successful candidate will be joining our culturally diverse and welcoming school and must be committed to quality learning for all students ensuring they fulfil their potential. This would be an excellent opportunity to work with supportive staff and students who are keen to learn. We are seeking a highly motivated practitioner who will inspire our students to have a love of Sociology. The Holy Cross School is an extremely successful school with an excellent track record of academic results in GCSE and A Level courses, with many of our students going on to study Sociology and related subjects at university. We are accredited with ‘World Class Schools’, recognising that our students are truly world class. The school consistently achieves significantly above the national average in GCSE, A Level and BTEC examinations results and has a Progress 8 score which is well above the national average. We offer excellent programmes of CPD including ECT mentoring and opportunities for leadership development.
