Borden Grammar School is committed to providing students in Swale with every advantage that being a selective school can offer. This vacancy provides the opportunity to teach Humanities to cover for a colleague whilst they are on maternity leave. The ability to teach Religious Studies is essential and a willingness to contribute to Geography or History is desirable.
All three subjects are popular at KS4 and there may be the opportunity to contribute to teaching within both KS3 and KS4.
This is a post for a suitably qualified teacher; you might be looking for a fresh challenge or even be relatively new to the profession. Most importantly you will be committed to achieving high standards in all areas of school life: academic; pastoral and cultural. Your own personal ethos will reflect the school’s ambition for boys to become confident and curious scientists who will use their skills to make a positive contribution to society.
In response to the curriculum needs of the school, a 0.6 or 0.8 part-time role will be discussed at interview.
