What skills and experience we're looking for
With a growing Sixth Form and a history of strong outcomes for students, our Social Sciences provision is expanding. We are looking to appoint a new member of the team from September 2023. You will be able to teach Psychology up to A-level.
Over recent years we have been adding to our offer as a faculty, which now includes Sociology A level, Level 3 Applied Diploma in Criminology, Psychology A level and GCSE, Philosophy A level, Business A level and GCSE and Health and Social Care and experience of teaching any other subject within our faculty offer would be desirable.
The ideal candidate will be:
Passionate about their subject(s); able to inspire students and help them to understand the real-world relevance of the social sciences.
Committed to supporting students to achieve their goals, particularly our growing and diverse sixth form.
Willing to contribute to a small but growing team with an increased range of subjects on offer.
Interested in contributing to our key development goals: closing the gaps through high-quality literacy teaching, inclusive teaching practices and diversity throughout our curriculum.
