Working pattern
- Part time: 17.5 hours per week teaching assistant, Monday to Friday 8.30a.m. to 12.00p.m. 5 hours per week lunchtime supervisor, Monday to Friday 12p.m.-1p.m. One person will be appointed for both roles, which will have separate contracts.

Full-time equivalent salary
- TA role Grade D, SCP3 (£24, 027 FTE) 38 weeks (term time); LTS role Grade C, SCP2 (£23, 656 FTE) 38 weeks (term time)
What skills and experience we're looking for
The successful candidate must have:
- GCSE grade C/level 4+ (or equivalent) in both English and Maths
- Experience of working with, or caring for, children in the primary age range
- The ability to work as part of a team
- A professional approach and high personal standards
An understanding of, or interest in, difficulties associated with: Autistic Spectrum Conditions; Speech, Language and Communication; and/or Social, Emotional and Mental Health would be advantageous.
Our teaching assistants are fully involved in the life of the school and this will also be an expectation of new staff. In addition to the TA role, the postholder will have an additional contract for one hour of lunch duty cover/outdoor supervision each day.
