Pelton Community Primary School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part time Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team. Working 18.5 hours per week, in this role, you will be instrumental in supporting teaching and learning, working closely with teachers and HLTA staff to ensure the progress and well-being of our pupils.

Your key responsibilities will include implementing planned learning activities and teaching programme's as directed by the HLTA/teacher, participating in the planning and evaluation of these activities by providing valuable feedback on pupil progress and behavior, and supporting the monitoring, assessment, and recording of pupil progress. You will also provide constructive feedback to pupils on their attainment and progress, assist in arranging and providing resources for lessons and activities, and support pupils in their social and emotional well-being, reporting any concerns to the teacher/HLTA. Collaboration with other staff, parents/carers, and external agencies to support pupil development is essential, as is promoting independent learning and ensuring the inclusion of all pupils.
