On behalf of the West Norwich & Dereham School Sport Partnership (WNDSSP) we are looking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational Partnership Development Manager. The successful candidate will be based at Taverham High School, working under the direct line management of the Headteacher.

The Partnership Development Manager is responsible for implementing a cohesive business development strategy to identify and advance new opportunities to drive growth, sustainability and impact. The role will include direct strategic leadership of the West Norwich & Dereham SSP, alongside a county wide PE support service role, through Norfolk PE Support Services.

The WNDSSP element incorporates leading & managing a small group of staff to support a partnership of over 40 schools to develop the PE, School Sport and Physical Activity Offer, making a real difference to the lives of thousands of young people, through the creation of a broad range of opportunities for all. The County wide aspect requires a candidate who is skilled in supporting teachers in a professional capacity, with experience of designing and delivering high quality CPD opportunities.

The successful person will need to be highly organized, able to prioritise and to manage a range of projects at any one time. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to deliver high quality under pressure are essential parts of the role. Experience of managing and developing relationships will need to be shown, as the Partnership provides a comprehensive membership offer providing a sustainable school support model.
