Pastoral Administrator job summary

Day to day responsibilities will be varied but will include:

  • To provide administrative support to the pastoral team (Behaviour team, Head of Years team).
  • To work with staff and students in respect of behaviour management admin processes and procedures.
  • To liaise with parents and other external agencies in support of the pastoral care of students.

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Be educated to at least GCSE level, with passes in English and Maths.
  • Have an excellent command of written and verbal English.
  • Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
  • Have highly effective communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Hold at least 2 years’ experience in an administrative role.
  • Have an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Have the ability to organise and prioritise workload.
  • Ability to identify stakeholders’ needs quickly and deal with queries.
  • Demonstrate reliability, tact, diplomacy, confidentiality and sensitivity are paramount to this post.
  • Be able to work as part of a team or on your own initiative.
  • Be a hard worker.
