Working details: 40 weeks, Monday - Friday. Term time only.

The Role: As our Pastoral and Attendance Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being and attendance of our students. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Team member: Based in the school office you will be a pivotal member of the office team and as you will be based in the school office you will be the “face of the school.”

  • Family Liaison: Building positive relationships with families to support the holistic development of our students.

  • Attendance Tracking: Monitoring and managing student attendance to promote regular attendance and punctuality.

  • Pupil Support: sending time with pupils to ensure that they receive the pastoral support they may need

  • External Agency Collaboration: Coordinating and collaborating with external agencies to provide additional support for students and families.

  • Safeguarding Team Membership: Serving as a valuable member of our safeguarding team to ensure the safety and welfare of all students.

We are seeking a compassionate individual who possesses:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and external partners.

  • Organisational abilities to effectively track attendance and coordinate with external agencies.

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
