You will join our inspirational School in the Heart of North Yorkshire and will be a key senior leader to support our Head of DeepSupport (Pastoral). You will add value to the academy in both academic terms through outstanding lessons (approximately 4 periods per week) and through involvement in the fabric of learning and success beyond the classroom. The Pastoral Lead for our Key Stage 3 students is a key appointmentenhancing and ensuring positive life chances for our students through success and achievement. This is a new role within the inclusion team, one which will provide strong pastoral leadership across the academy. This role plays an important strategic role in leading initiatives with key stage 3 to improve the attainment, attendance and behaviour of students across all year groups. You will strive to build on the successful pastoral care, positive interventions and emotional support ensuring the highest possible quality of pastoral leadership to support our educational vision. Your strong leadership of students and staff and ability to provide effective support to colleagues will enable the academy to achieve the best possible outcomes for all of our students and foster students’ positive engagement in school life.
