What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for a honest, calm and kind practitioners to join our Trust and have the following vacancy at Trinity Academy New Bridge for a Pastoral Lead.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 GCSEs Grade C or above or equivalent (Must include English & Maths) and the following :
Specialist skills, training or experience in behaviour management and SEN, well established de-escalation strategies, recent experience of working with young people with social, emotional & mental health difficulties aged 7 – 16+ years, the ability to communicate and operate at a high level of understanding and competence, provide effective management and administrative support, be able to support the school improvement plan, staff development and supervision, should have well-developed emotional intelligence skills, a knowledge of safeguarding children-systems and procedures, the ability to identify potential barriers to learning and to devise strategies to enable pupils to overcome these barriers and contribute to the provision of an effective environment for learning.
