Pastoral Leader job summary
Icknield High School are seeking to appoint a talented and
dedicated teacher to lead and manage a year group of 295 students. The
successful candidate will continue to build on a legacy of success, ensuring
students achieve academic excellence and have their wellbeing effectively
supported. The successful candidate will be guided by an established and
effective pastoral team, and will have a full-time Pastoral Support Officer to
help them lead a team of ten tutors.
As a Pastoral Leader, you will provide a pivotal link between our high expectations of behavior, safeguarding and positive engagement in school. We believe that this will enable a more focused and proactive platform for students, parents and staff, providing insight and facilitating intervention and support.
Applicants will also have a 32-period teaching timetable appropriate to their relevant subject area.
