Pastoral Leader (Vertical) job summary
We are looking for an experienced teacher to join our pastoral support team and lead a vertical faculty of over 200 students from Years 7 to 11. Could this be your next career challenge?
Your opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an inspiring leader with a passion for motivating students, raising standards and promoting the importance of learning. Strong communication skills will be essential as the post-holder seeks to develop the interest and involvement of students, parents and colleagues in the ever-evolving creative culture of this new school. Pastoral leadership of one third of the whole school, will be combined with a reduced timetable of teaching and we especially welcome teachers with subject experience in Maths, Science, Music, Computing or Media.
As a purpose built school, Aureus has brand new facilities, equipment and classrooms using the latest equipment such as SMART TV boards in every classroom and Visualisers enabling teachers to bring learning to life and engage our learners. Lesson planning and delivery is done with ease using the Google Drive and all staff and students are provided with Office 365 professional accounts as a platform for collaboration, sharing and out of school access.
