Key responsibilities:

  • Build strong positive relationships with staff and share information and concerns as appropriate
  • Be the first point of contact for families with pastoral concerns about pupils
  • Support staff who make referrals to external agencies
  • Develop the culture of safeguarding by ensuring all staff utilise CPOMS fully to record concerns, actions and outcomes

 

Pay range: £29,872.28 - £32,686.76 37 hours per week / 40 weeks per year 

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Level 3 qualification in relevant discipline such as Health and Social Care, Childcare and Education etc
  • Degree in Social Care or similar relevant discipline
  • Safeguarding/Prevent qualification or willing to work towards
  • Experience of working with children of the relevant age range and their families in an education setting or similar
  • Experience of working with children and families with Child Protection/CiN plans
