What skills and experience we're looking for
About You:
As Pastoral Manager at Ash Green School, you’ll be a compassionate and proactive presence, dedicated to supporting students’ wellbeing and personal development. You bring experience in pastoral care or a similar role, with the ability to build trust, manage sensitive situations, and help students overcome barriers to learning.
Our Ideal candidate would have:
- Good knowledge of safeguarding and the challenges young people face in and out of school.
- The ability to build strong, trusting relationships while maintaining clear, consistent boundaries to support wellbeing, positive behaviour, and a safe, inclusive environment.
- Bags of energy and enthusiasm, along with the ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced, diverse school environment.

Following a positive Ofsted inspection, this is an exciting opportunity to join a school recognised for its strong pastoral support. Our dedicated Pastoral Team consists of 10 staff members working across the school, closely aligned with Heads of Year to ensure every student receives the care and guidance they need to thrive.
