This role is to support the leadership of the College in creating the right climate for all students to maximise their achievements across the spectrum of College life, especially through the work of academic tutors. The post will involve undertaking some supervision of students and one-to-one/group working with students, as required. The postholder will need to work flexibly across the key stages to support teaching and learning at the College. The role involves contacting parents and external parties, by telephone, letters and face-to-face meetings where appropriate. The successful postholder will work closely and effectively with teachers and families to ensure good attendance, punctuality and to raise attainment. Applicants should be educated to a minimum of Level 3 and have good literacy, numeracy and ICT skills. Excellent interpersonal skills are also required for this role
