Pastoral Manager/ Deputy Safeguarding Lead
Salary: Point 29 NJC scale (£32,910 per annum)
Hours: 37 per week (Monday to Friday with flexibility to include out of hours openings and callouts)

We are seeking to appoint a positive and approachable full time Pastoral Manager to join Liverpool Life Sciences UTC and the Studio School.

You will support individual students to achieve their learning aims and inculcate a positive work ethic, encouraging all students to be joiners in.

You will deputise for and support the safeguarding and inclusion leads and act as a “Named Person” for safeguarding.

This will be a varied, interesting and challenging role, which will require flexibility, and the ability to work independently as well as part of the team.

Liverpool Life Sciences UTC is the first 14-19 college in the UK that specialises in science, engineering and healthcare. It is a unique college offering exceptional opportunities for young people from a wide range of backgrounds to complete a wider curriculum alongside traditional A Levels, BTECs and GCSEs that is designed to prepare them for future careers in science, medicine, nursing and engineering.

The Studio Liverpool is a school for 14-19 year olds focused on the creative and digital technology sectors. The Studio empowers students to make a positive impact on the world through an innovative use of digital technology and is a launchpad for students’ careers in emerging areas of the creative and digital sectors.
