Pastoral Manager

The successful candidate will:
• be an advocate for all students, working to enhance areas of wellbeing, behaviour and attendance;
• have the capacity to motivate students and enable them to make sustained progress;
• contribute to the whole school behaviour and attendance policies;
• foster a culture of high expectations and achievement within the school.

We are delighted to be recruiting for a Pastoral Manager. This is a new role to the school and you will work alongside current Heads of Year for Years 7-11.

You would be part of a small but dynamic team with a shared interest in improving the outcomes for all students in terms of their welfare, behaviour, attendance and academic attainment by helping to remove any barriers.

The appointed person will have a variety or roles and will work alongside other pastoral staff with regard to the following:

• Behaviour

• Attendance

• Liaising with parents/carers

• Liaising with outside agencies
