The governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative person to contribute fully to the future development behaviour, attendance and student welfare within the school.

Pastoral Manager

The successful candidate will:
• be an advocate for all students, working to enhance areas of wellbeing, behaviour and attendance;
• have the capacity to motivate students and enable them to make sustained progress;
• contribute to the whole school behaviour and attendance policies;
• foster a culture of high expectations and achievement within the school.

We are delighted to be recruiting for a Pastoral Manager. This is a new role to the school and you will work alongside current Heads of Year for Years 7-11.

The school is on an exciting journey of improving performance in all areas within an engaging and inclusive environment. You would be part of a small but dynamic team with a shared interest in improving the outcomes for all students in terms of their welfare, behaviour, attendance and academic attainment by helping to remove any barriers.

The appointed person will have a variety or roles and will work alongside other pastoral staff with regard to the following:

• Behaviour

• Attendance

• Liaising with parents/carers

• Liaising with outside agencies
