Pastoral Support Assistant [Fixed Term] job summary
Helston Community College, part of the Southerly Point Co-operative Multi-Academy Trust, are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to support the work of our Pastoral Team. This is an exciting opportunity for you to support and promote an inclusive culture throughout the College, enabling all children to achieve their best, overcoming barriers to learning and participation.
The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and organisational skills. You will be experienced in providing support to young people and have the ability to motivate and inspire, by being a positive role model and displaying resilience when dealing with difficult situations and challenging cases.
Contract: Fixed Term until 31.08.2021
37 hours per week over 39 working weeks [Term Time incl. INSETs]
Salary: Scale 6 : £22,009 FTE /Actual: £18,684 pa [probationary rate may apply]
