Pastoral Support Assistant job summary

The Pastoral Support Assistant (PSA) plays a key role in supporting the work of the Senior Leadership and Pastoral Team, under the guidance of the Inclusion Leader. They will take a lead role in providing high quality and effective safeguarding, SEMH and pastoral support across the school, maintaining accurate records and working with staff, pupils, parents and external agencies to ensure appropriate plans and strategies are in place to support pupils and their families. The PSA will lead peer to peer mentoring and deliver small group interventions to meet the needs of pupils.
