PASTORAL SUPPORT MANAGER (SECONDARY)
JOB TITLE: Pastoral Support Manager (Secondary)
BASED AT: Castle Newnham (Secondary - Polhill Avenue)
SALARY/GRADE: NJC 4E point 17-22 (37.5 hours p/w, term time including 5 training days plus 2 weeks) (Monday - Friday 8.00am - 4.00pm)

Since forming in 2016, we have grown significantly into one of the largest trusts in the county. We now educate 8,000 children across the area, from nursery age to advanced level study, and have over 1,000 members of staff. It is our aim to grow the BEST in everyone, and everything we do is driven by our values.
We are keen to recruit a new Pastoral Support Manager (Secondary) to a permanent post, working across our Secondary provision (North Site - Polhill Avenue). The post holder will facilitate the highest quality pastoral support for pupils aged 11-16. They will support pastoral leaders in providing excellent pastoral care in a named year group and deal on a day-to-day basis with pastoral and behaviour issues as they arise. The post holder will also support the management of the social and emotional needs of the pupils and promote safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
NB this is a completely non-teaching role
