We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional Pastoral Support Manager to support the team here at Shenley Academy, the purpose of this role is to support the Progress Leader in overseeing the general welfare, progress, behaviour and overall pastoral needs of students in a specified year group and to address pastoral needs of students who require assistance in overcoming barriers to learning in order to achieve their full potential. 


·      To support the Progress Leaders to develop strategic direction for the Year

·      To ensure that the values, principles and mission of the Academy are evident in the discharge of the duties of the post

·      To identify opportunities to innovate and bring benefit to the Academy and its stakeholders

·      To provide support and advice to students with respect to their learning, emotional and social well-being, health and safety and personal development

·      To work proactively with vulnerable students
