What the school offers its staff

We are seeking to appoint a skilled, professional and enthusiastic Pastoral Support Officer to join our friendly and growing team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Assistant Principal leading on pastoral and Heads of Year in providing administrative support as well as leading and taking interventions for pupils to support behaviour, attendance and wellbeing.

What will you do?

  • Support Heads of Year and the assistant principal with pupil behaviour, aiming to nurture each pupil on their own journey of self discovery.
  • Work with students who are finding it hard to integrate by providing support.
  • Lead intervention strategies to support pupil behaviour, attendance and wellbeing.
  • Liaise with parent/carers and external agencies.
  • Provide Heads of Year and SLT updates on pupils groupsand the effectiveness of intervention strategies.
