What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint a Pastoral Support Officer to work for the Assistant Headteacher to work closely with the pastoral team to improve the level of support we provide to our students.

The role requires that ideally you:

  • Have an extensive background of working in the public sector would be an advantage
  • A track record of building links with community projects would be an advantage
  • Ability to build good relationships and mentor key students
  • To be proficient and used to leading key meetings
  • Organised and resilient
  • Able to remain calm, even in difficult and challenging situations
  • To have had dealings with or worked in a school environment

This post is a term-time appointment, 36 hours per week, daily start time to be agreed. Staff on term-time contracts are required to arrange their holidays within School holiday periods.
