Hours: 37 hours per week TTO plus 5 days
Actual Salary: £26,687 - £28,051
Are you a compassionate and skilled educator with a passion for supporting children's emotional well-being?
We are seeking a dedicated Pastoral Support Office to join our team and play a vital role in the education and development of our students. This is a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
Tailored Learning Support: Implement and adjust learning activities, including national strategies and ICT use, to meet individual pupil needs through one-to-one or small group interventions.
Comprehensive Pupil Support: Provide specialist (SEN/Autism/behavioural) and pastoral support, including personal care and mentoring, while promoting inclusion and analysing behaviour data to foster improvement.
Strong Home-School Partnerships: Facilitate positive home-school relationships by communicating with families, assisting with meetings and home visits, and managing family support interventions.
Dedicated Safeguarding Lead: Act as a fully trained designated lead for safeguarding and child protection, investigating concerns, using CPOMS for record-keeping, and liaising with appropriate agencies.
Collaborative Multi-Agency Work: Contribute to multi-agency meetings, providing crucial information about pupils and families to ensure effective safeguarding and support.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of child protection and safer working practice.
Strong understanding of child development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of our students.
