What skills and experience we're looking for

We’re looking for a resilient, determined and proactive individual to join our school. They will work with our pastoral team that is led by our SENco. The role is essential for our school as we support our pupils to manage the challenges of Covid and the impact it has had on their education.

The correct candidate will be flexible and prepared to work across school, sometimes directed to work with specific individuals, groups of year groups. They will be supported to develop skills to lead with interventions, restorative practice and to work with other agencies. The role will require you to work with pupils with complex emotions so will need an individual determined to put the pupils first and enjoy the reward that brings.

You will understand the importance of communicating with other professionals and also the families of pupils.. You’ll do all this whilst capturing the spirit of our vision and values and whilst role-modelling exceptional professional behaviours.

We are determined to support our colleagues to develop and will incorporate CPD appropriate to the role. This is a fantastic opportunity to be rewarded by supporting the learning of a really warm and kind pupil.
