PASTORAL SUPPORT WORKER job summary
This exciting opportunity will allow the successful candidate to work closely with our staff, students and parents. A pastoral Support Worker will support the raising of attendance, attainment, improved behaviour and well-being of individual students.
A pastoral Support Worker will be contributing to the management of the pastoral systems in school, as well as supporting the Guidance Team with attendance and behaviour.
The successful candidate will also be a Designated Safeguarding Lead and work as part of the Safeguarding Team under the direction of the Senior Designated Lead.
While pastoral experience will be an advantage a wide range of training will be made available. We welcome applications from candidates who are capable of dealing with sensitive and confidential issues and have the ability to relate to young people, parents and staff.
