What skills and experience we're looking for
To happily thrive in the role as Pastoral Support Worker you will be resourceful and creative, highly resilient and able to work well as a member of a high-quality team. You will also be able to relate well to others, demonstrate highly developed interpersonal and communication skills in the building of partnerships, prioritise workload, be computer literate, and have a good sense of positive humour.
The role of Pastoral Support Worker is to support the safety and wellbeing of our students and their families, within the Learning Support Team and directly supporting the Pastoral Support Manager and Inclusion Lead. You will work with individuals and/or in small groups to ensure strong communication pathways, whilst taking action to promote, support and ensure learning and well-being to ensure a ‘thriving school community’. Fostering and sustaining collaborative links with relevant agencies, practitioners and across the academy community will support success in this role.
