Pastoral Teaching Assistant job summary
We are looking to appoint an experienced Pastoral Support Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and hardworking team.
We are looking for a Pastoral Support Teaching Assistant who is :
• Able to provide pastoral and nurture intervention for vulnerable pupils, as requested by classroom-based staff and directed by the Pastoral Lead
• Able to develop the social, emotional skills and interactions of identified pupils
• Able to reduce in-class low level behaviours through in class support and guidance
• Able to reduce the number of incidents of extreme behaviours through targeted support and pastoral work
• Able to provide targeted preventative and reactionary capacity which enables all children to learn in an ordered and safe environment and are enabled to reach their full potential
• Holding that all pupils, regardless of their background and issues, can achieve beyond their expectations with support and guidance
