Extend Learning Academies Network (ELAN)
37 hours per week, term-time plus five inset days and two additional weeks (to be worked in the school holidays as agreed)
Actual salary E4 £18,264.40 pa plus extensive benefits package

As the new people-focused Payroll and HR Administrator, based at our busy central team in Locking, North Somerset, your role will be to provide a high level of service and expert payroll advice to our schools and employees. Confidentiality, patience, tact and diplomacy are essential attributes for this post.
You will already have experience of payroll administration along with strong organisation skills as you will be responsible for processing the payroll process including compliance to pensions, statutory bodies and completing the payroll year end. You will have a passion for process and compliance including confidentiality and tact with our schools and employees. Also you will need to have strong IT skills including Excel. Specific systems training will be provided.
You will be supporting the passionate HR and Payroll team in the administration of the trust payroll and HR requirements which include:
• updating the payroll system of contractual staffing changes, monthly payroll amendments and staff absence
• creating and checking of the monthly payroll reports
• pre-employment checks, including DBS, right to work and identity checks
• new starter and leaver processes
• administration support to the HR team
• passion to focus on continuous process and professional development
