The Shared Learning Trust are seeking to appoint a Payroll Manager to join our strong and welcoming finance team!  We are looking to recruit a dependable and organised individual to support our trust and academies in all aspects of Payroll.  You will have the chance to continue to grow and gain experience within a highly successful trust and dedicated team. 

The Shared Learning Trust is looking for a Payroll Manager to manage payroll operations to ensure that each stage of the payroll process complies with due processes and procedures, all staff are paid correctly, correct payments are made and appropriate information provided to our pension schemes, HMRC and other statutory bodies.

A fundamental part of this role will be the ongoing development and enhancement of our trust integrated HR/payroll system to maximize the value of our investment in the system by automating processes wherever possible, extending its functionality to support reporting requirements and external returns, both current and future.

You will be someone who can work with key stakeholders, including Human Resources and the Executive Office.


The Successful candidate will:

·       Experience of payroll

·       Experience with Edupay or another payroll software

·       Good attention to detail

·       Microsoft Excel and Word

Start date: As soon as possible

Contract: Full time, permanent, 52 weeks, 37 hours per week.

Salary: NJC M2 £38,296 - £41,496 FTE
