Fixed Term Contract

The Kemnal Academies Trust (TKAT) is one of the largest Multi-Academy Trusts in the South and East of England with 45 Primary and Secondary Academies in the TKAT Family. We drive up educational standards, pupil progress and achievement through the provision of exceptional teaching, leadership and learning for all. We believe in the power of innovation, collaboration and school-to school support.

At TKAT, our pupils are at the heart of everything we do; we continually strive to inspire learners and change lives.

Do you have what it takes to work in a fast moving environment providing payroll and pensions support across 45 academies?

As Payroll & Pensions Assistant you will work within our highly motivated HQ team and primarily be responsible for your own portfolio of monthly academy payrolls, together with supporting the rest of the team as and when required with our ongoing payroll migration project.

You will need to hit the ground running, so a strong background in payroll processing is essential. Being AAT or CIPP qualified is also desirable but not essential.

If you want to know more about the role, feel free to contact Kirsty Hampton-Goodall for an informal chat via HR@tkat.org.

This is a fixed term contract for 6 months.

We reserve the right to close the vacancy early should we receive a significant number of applications.

If you have not had any communication within 10 days of the closing date please take this as confirmation that on this occasion your application has not been successful.

TKAT is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Offers of employment will be subject to the full Safer Recruitment process, including an enhanced disclosure and barring service check.

Our Commitment - Equal, Inclusive, Diverse

TKAT is committed to inclusion, diversity and equality of opportunity by encouraging and welcoming differences, listening to individual experiences, aspirations and accomplishments and learning how to grow better together. We welcome applications from all suitable candidates, regardless of any protected characteristic; this includes applicants wishing to work flexibly.

Access to interview - should you be selected and invited to interview please let us know if you require us to adapt the interview environment. If we can accommodate practical workplace adjustments to assist we will.
