PE Class Teacher job summary

We are looking to recruit a PE Teacher to take responsibility for Physical Education across our school.
We offer a warm and friendly environment with a dedicated and supportive staff team. This role would suit an outstanding, highly motivated and committed classroom practitioner to join our dedicated and friendly team.
Specifically, you will be responsible for:
Teaching outstanding PE lessons.
Break and lunch time responsibility and leadership of play and consistency of managing behaviours.
Providing outstanding coaching and support to all teachers to improve their teaching of PE
Planning celebration events to invite stakeholders to showcase our excellence in sport.
Planning and taking children to Sporting events.
Holding after school clubs.
Leading Healthy schools across the school to gain a Healthy schools Award.
Leading healthy living/eating events in school.
Supporting Learning support to arrange Let's get cooking events.
To be successful, you will:
Be a qualified teacher.
Have experience of teaching PE.
Have a passion & drive to lead PE across a school.
Mini bus licence preferable but not essential
