PE Instructor job summary
This is an exciting new opportunity to join our PE team as a PE Instructor. You should have a passion for sports and for sharing this engagement with our young people. This role will support our lunchtime and extra-curricular activities, linking in and developing wider connections with clubs and events in the local area. You will coach our students in PE practical sessions in your area of expertise and a specialist knowledge of netball, hockey and fitness would be a distinct advantage. Also, a knowledge of the Sports Leaders award would be beneficial as this role will be responsible for training our students to become the sports leaders of the future.
The role will start on 5 September 2022 and will run for 12 months until 31 August 2023. Your working hours will be 16 hours each week over four days during the school term. The usual hours would be from 12.30 pm to 4.30 pm. This role could be combined with a casual instructor role providing cover for staff absence and please don’t hesitate to contact the school if you would like to discuss this with us further.
