We are seeking to appoint, as soon as possible, a highly motivated and enthusiastic PE instructor to join our dynamic Physical Education department. This post is suitable for an experienced or early career teacher, a sports coach or could provide an excellent opportunity for someone considering a future career in teaching, offering the chance to make a real impact on students’ educational experiences and personal growth – we welcome applications from all.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a school setting, an understanding of secondary school PE and the ability to support students’ learning and progress, both in class and in smaller groups.
In addition to working with students directly in their physical education, the post holder will have the responsibility of supporting the smooth running of the PE department including organisation of resources, maintenance of equipment and a variety of administrative tasks. Good organisation and IT skills are essential to succeed in the role.
A passion for physical education and a clear appreciation of its value in students’ personal development are essential, as is the ability to inspire and motivate young people to achieve their full potential.
If you have the energy, commitment, and enthusiasm to contribute to the success of our students, and if Ivanhoe School feels like the right next step in your career, we warmly encourage you to apply.
Please contact the school if you require any further information about the school or the role.
Closing date for applications is 12:00pm Thursday 21st November 2025.
