About the roles

We are looking to recruit a passionate PE Teacher who can lead in this subject across three of our schools in the Selby Hub. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about physical activity, especially within children, we are looking for someone who can promote a healthy lifestyle in a fun and educational way.

Research has shown that healthy children are more likely grow in to healthy adults, with this in mind we are looking for someone who is able to plan and deliver an exciting and inspiring PE programme to encourage our children to adopt a healthy mind set and encourage them to participate in a wide range of physical activities.

Job requirements

The right candidate should be able to coordinate a programme of high quality, professional PE and sporting activities, which reflects the needs of the schools, playing a central role in enabling the school and its pupils to achieve their full potential. Experience in a primary school setting is essential, as is knowledge of the National Curriculum requirements for PE and suitable qualifications in this subject area.

You will plan and deliver high quality PE lessons as well as a broad and balanced extra-curricular activity programme along with the administration tasks that come with the role. You will deliver activities in accordance with school policy, making sure that lessons are safe and pupils are fully engaged.

Good behaviour management and communication skills are essential.
